Renewing Indo visa in Bangkok so I can return to surf another six months. This is my second time in Bangkok in the last 2 years it is hot, busy, more expensive than Indonesia, although there is lots to do, good food and massage spas everywhere, Ive nearly had enough. Hopefully I will pick up my visa and passport tomorrow then ill be heading to Koh Lanta an island down south to see my brother and sister..and get back to the sea… no surf though which sucks
Fun in Bangkok

Bangkok part 2
On the flight to Bangkok with Air Asia I met a Woman from South Africa called Michelle Moffat. Michelle decided to quit her job as a chartered accountant and travel the world. 31 years old with lots of stories to tell. We have been hanging out since the flight sharing a room and taxi rides about to save some cash. It is great travelling on your own in the respect that thereĀ is always a free space for someone else in your world and this vacuum seems to attract the people that somehow are able to help you learn the things that life / Universe is trying to enlighten you with. Michelle is as intelligent as she is funny, and on occasion as testing to my patience as a human being can be can be, however we get on well and laugh a lot, we have both learnt a lot of things as a result of spending time together. In fact Michelle has been great she has accompanied to and from the Indonesian Embassy and succesfully managed to convince me to visit as many of the tourist spots listed in the Lonely planet guide to bangkok as physically possible. Michelle likes her guide books and is working her way through the information listed as meticulously as she would have audited Barclays accounts in London. That is her way and I thank her for that I have now managed to take lots of pictures of shiny gold temples and big fat buddahs!

Hi Jason
I’ve only just found your blog….its a sunday morning, with coffee and toast and I’m reading all about your trip. It sounds like you’re having some interesting ,and occassional trying, times on your travels. Well, i think you left the uk just in time……in Dec we had the biggest snow fall seen in decades, which brought most parts of the uk to a stand still, no buses, trains and planes……we’ve had the credit cruch and recession, house prices have slumped (but then Jason predicted this early in 2008), and it seems our politicians have been cheating at monopoly..
Can’t wait to see your incredible photo’s. Take care of yourself
Lots of love
Juliette xx
