I have had some requests to put more photos on my blog, I actually have not taken many so I will go out over the next few days with my camera and capture some pictures of everyday life here in Kuta and the differences in Architecture and culture from the UK. It really is different and I have had good intentions of doing this so far but not done so, however here are some sights that you would not normally see in Europe or pretty much anywhere else in the world…

Ok, seeing religious ceremonies happing between palmtrees and surfboards for hire is a pretty common place sight here that feels relatively normal and something that I now take for granted but if I step back and think about it, this doesnt happen in Bristol City centre too much..

I like this shot its very peaceful for me, I was riding back from another beach and the sunset at Kuta was just wonderful I had my small Nikon coolpix5100 on me and I quickly pulled over and snapped this shot..

This is an example of the embellishment that you will find around many of the Indonesian doorways and buildings..
Monkey Fun
Below is an example of what wild monkeys do when they are bored, not many differences here though, I guess biologists after studying primate behaviour, skulls and archeological finds for many years have decided men evolved from monkeys, all you need to do is watch one in a tree for 15 mins to make the link, same facial expression upon completion as well…kinda like when you mum walks in on you having a quiet moment during your puberty..

no one watching

Probe in full effect!

job done, time to get on with the day now…

“Hey, I did not know you were watching, and you caught it on camera!”
Ok, well a bit of smutty fun, the monkey and me have a pretty similar sex life right now, he,s sat in the tree playing with himself I am sat in the sea playing with my surfboard! the rest is private…

Hi Jason,
Just a quick note to say its good to hear that you are still having a fantastic time. Your little monkey photos and comments made me chuckle by the way!
Even though it is rainy season there you’ll be glad to know that here the weather is absolute CRAP, it is cold, rainy, and we are in for some strong winds as well this week, not that that is any different to usual!
I haven’t been working much this month, just been doing my temp job, so I have been training lots and lots. Lots of handstands, lots of stretching, and lots of aerial hoop. I have found someone to do duo aerial hoop with so that is good. I haven’t been diving since before Christmas but am going to get back into that this week hopefully. I’ll have my sixpack back soon lol.
